I have been waiting for this game for years! It plays fairly well but with a few issues I dislike. A) too many animations! Its supposed to be a quick card game but even to discard a card it has to flip on every axis? Tone it down (and speed it up) a little please. B) the rules are that the race goes to 700km and you have the option to extend to 1000km (for which you can get extra points). This version does not end at 700km but only ends at 1000km! C) there is no clear place where I should play my card. I double tapped, dragged to the middle of the screen and even discarded good cards before I realized I had to drag them to my marker above. A good v1.0 release but needs some work, especially in implementing the actual rules from the card game.

Ive been waiting for this game for a while and now that its here Im disappointed that its using a modified version of the rules. -A trip is supposed to end at 700 miles at which point the person who reached 700 can optionally choose to continue to 1000 miles and get an extension bonus if he makes it. This has been left out. -The safe trip bonus is only supposed to be awarded to the person who completes the trip, but in this game anyone gets it even if they have zero miles when someone else completes the trip. -If you use a safety card (Coupe Fourres are exempt from this), you must still play a GO card to be able to continute but this game doesnt require it. Maybe these are small details but they bother me. Especially since other than this I really like this game and it works really well over bluetooth. The graphics are a little cutesy and it would be nice to have the animations be optional, but I love the fact that they include the original card artwork.

It could have been worse I suppose but this implementation is just too busy. Apparently Mile by Mile was much better, but Hasbro (I assume) shut them down, along with all the other apps based on Mille Bornes. To the IP owner: if youre going to defend your property, at least offer a decent product or reasonable licensing costs. UPDATE: The more I play this, the more Im noticing the corners that were cut in production. I also agree that the rules should not have been modified. It also has locked up twice during the "smoke puff" animation on the cards. Downgraded to two stars. Ill wait for a better version.

I really love this game

Bought this to play with my son on separate ipads. Have tried everything but cannot get the multiplayer function to work. Disappointing.

A friend and I both bought the app for the sole purpose of playing multi-device multiplayer. It doesnt work at all. We used to play it that was all the time on the free version before that feature was dropped so we know it should work on our phones. Ive tried contacting the company about this but got no response.

Not impressed. I want my money back. Im disappointed.

A few hours later..... Seriously? A price drop to 99 cents?? way to leave a nasty feeling in my mouth for buying a "pricey" game from a new Dev its launch day.

I had never heard of this game nor ever played as a child, so since it was only 99 cents today decided to give a try. WOW, as I am getting used to how to play it is so much FUN!! I had read the reviews and that is what made me decide to give it a try. Thanks to the reviews and developer.

Downloaded this today and have been playing with the family ever since. The Bluetooth multiplayer works great. The gameplay is great. I agree that 6.99 is a bit much for the HD version. Many childhood memories from this game. Thanks for the adaptation.

Mille bornes is probably my favorite game. Ive been waiting for somebody to do this. I couldnt have hoped for it to have been done this well. Kudos.

Cards seem to favor the computer but still lots of fun!

This game brings back childhood memories. It makes me miss my mom and brother. Can someone tell me why there are two games that have the same names at different prices? I figured it out, but I dont recall seeing the HD version a couple days ago. Someone asked about scores adding up- they only add together if you play the 5000 point version. What Im trying to figure out is why after playing a few 50 speed limit cards the car seems to be stuck and the character is smoking. I tried the web app help site, but it is in French and is a sales website, not an app support site. If you have a clue, please share.

But they gotta speed up the animation for the other players. A game against three other computer players took 45 minutes last night.

Loved the game growing up! Played it aLL the time ! Was very happily surprised to see it as a game app u could play on the iTouch .. No bugs.. Cute animation !!! 5 stars easily 

There is no English support for this app. It works fine as long as you dont play speed limit cards. Intermittently, when the computer plays the end speed limit card, the cloud animation gets stuck and the app hangs. Other than this, the app is nice. If they fix the bug, I would change my rating to 4 or 5 stars.

First - the game needs a finite deck. With what appears to be limitless number of cards its ridiculous to spend 10 straight turns getting the "Go" card every time. It also makes it impossible to keep track of what has been played so you know if theres a chance of getting the card you need. Second - speed up the animations a touch. While its fun to see the cars drive or get in accidents, it takes way too long to complete a round against the "computer" Maybe its just me ... but the game seems weighted against specific players for every 5000 point game. The same player wins every time in a 4 player match.

Just downloaded this app for $2.99 and now it will not open. Very unhappy with it.

Good times. Ai players are tough. Needs to link up with game center for Facebook play.

Fun game but crashes every 2mn and have to restart the game from 0 each time, please fix and update
